Lavender Elephant Card

I absolutely love my "Adorable Elephants" stamps from MFT and I can't stop using them!  This card was inspired by Debby's card which you can see HERE.  I loved the simple layout, but I made a lot of changes.

My biggest change was NOT water coloring my own background.  I know it's the "in" thing in paper crafting right now, but it's too much work for me.  Plus, I have a plethora of designer paper to use up, so why create my own?

Instead, I used designer paper from Prima "Sparkling Spring".  All the images, the elephant, balloon, and butterfly were stamped on white card stock, cut out, and mounted up on dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment onto a Pale Plum card stock banner cut with an MFT die, and sewn onto the designer paper using a sewing machine.

Liquid Applique was put on the balloon, and Stickles on the butterfly.

I scattered clear sequins about the designer paper for embellishments.

Have a Great Day!  Amy
