McMahon Vintage Digitals 'Sailing with Love'

Hello! Today I have the CUTEST McMahon Vintage Digital to show you called 'Sailing With Love'. I squealed with delight when I first this image, I just thought it was so adorable. To make my card I used an old Midnight Madness sketch (MMSC89) and paper from Prima called 'Madeline'. I colored the image with Copics, then put Flower Soft in the trees and grass and Brown Flock on the Cattails. I embellished with more Primas, ribbon, and vintage trims. The heart was cut with a Cuttlebug, and the sentiment is by Crafty Secrets. Here is a close up so you can see the Flower Soft details better.

Doodle Pantry Sketch Challenge

Hello! Today I made a card for the Doodle Pantry Challenge Blog. This time it was a sketch challenge. I used my new Iris image which I received FREE just for playing in last month's challenge. This set is so beautiful. It comes both in black and white and pre-colored and it also has iris designer paper too; which I also used in my card below. I just love the sketch on the Challenge Blog. It worked perfectly with this image. All I had to do was add Prima's and pearls for embellishment. It won't be long now before the Iris's are in bloom! I can't wait! I can already see their little green stalks poking their heads out of the ground. Have a great day! Amy

Our sponsor this week is MyGrafico, and they are giving away 1 digi stamp set and 20% off an in-store order to one lucky randomly chosen winner. McMahon Vintage Digital Designs 'Kitten'

Hello! Today I have the cutest new Vintage Digital image to show you called 'Kitten' by McMahon Vintage Digital Designs. I have a special fondness for cats, especially kittens, so I really fell in love with the image the minute I saw it; and to top it off, the image has flowers in it....another thing I have a very special fondness for!

To make my card, I used a sketch from Mojo Monday and papers from Prima "Madeline". I put the vertical panel up on dimensionals, as well as the main image panel. I added vintage ribbon, silk ribbon, trim, primas, and pearls for embellishment. And here is a close up of this cutie:

I hope you enjoyed looking at my vintage card today. Be sure to check out the McMahon Five Designs Blog for the rest of this week's new releases, and my fellow design team members blogs which are listed in my sidebar.

Doodle Pantry 'I'm So Happy!'

Hello! Today I made a card for the Doodle Pantry Challenge Blog. This is my first time playing in one of their challenges. I've always loved Doodle Pantry images, their 'cuteness' is really my style. This challenge not only has a randomly chosen 'winner', but you also get a free Iris digi set for playing along. Well, being the flower lover that I am, I couldn't resist that! So here is my card I made for the challenge. The only requirement was that you had to use a Doodle Pantry image. I used "Happy Bird" which is a FREEBIE by the way! Isn't he just ADORABLE? My sketch is from Mojo Monday, and all the paper is from Cosmo Cricket 'Early Bird'. The main image is colored with Copics, and I mounted the whole main image panel up on dimensionals as well as the sentiment.
Here's a close up of this cutie pie:

McMahon Vintage Digitals 'Dollhouse'

Hello! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all my Irish readers! I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day, but most of my co-workers do and are always really excited for the big day to arrive. I'm almost 100% Polish, and I don't like Irish food or drink, so, the holiday is not of much interest to me. So you guys will have to go out and have fun without me! LOL!

Today I have a shabby-chic card to show you that uses a new McMahon Vintage Digital called 'Dollhouse'. I used a Midnight Madness Sketch (MMSC91) to make my card. The paper is from Prima Marketing 'Jack n' Jill', the lace trim is Prima Lace-Delicate Beige, the organza ribbon is from JoAnn's Fabrics and Crafts, and the rose is by Offray. I colored the image with Copics, then sponged some ink around the image to make it look old and dirty. I also distressed the edges of the pink panel.

Here is a close up for you!

Digital Tuesday Challenge 'It's a Magical World'

Hello and welcome to another Digital Tuesday Challenge. This week's challenge is 'It's a Magical World'. Simply make a card or project that has anything 'magical' on it; like fairies, gnomes, dragons, unicorns, etc. Our sponsor this week is Spesch Designer Stamps.

To make my card, I used the Spesch Designer Stamps Digital Image 'Spring Bee' designed by 'Star'. My sketch is from 'I Love to Stamp' and the paper is Cosmo Cricket 'Togetherness'. I printed the image twice, then cut out and mounted up the flower on dimensionals and added yellow flocking to the center of the flower. I put Stickles on the wings, insects 'trails' and other movement highlights on the image. I cut the stem of the flower with my Cricut Expression. The sentiment is computer generated, the inside of the card says 'Have a honey of a day'.

Here's a close up so you can see the flocking, Stickles, and dimension better.

Happy Birthday Michelle!

Hello! Today is the birthday of Michelle; one of the McMahon Five Designs Design Team Members. In honor of her birthday, I made a card using the Fairy Doodler Digital Image 'Clara'. This image is actually FREE right now, you can pick it up right HERE.

I used digital papers from Robyn's Fetish called 'Coney Island Summers'. My sketch is from The Sweet Shop (SSS97). For embellishments, I put 'Flower Soft' in the center of the flower, and added lace trim and 'Flip Flops' from 'Craft Essentials' purchased at JoAnn's Fabrics and Crafts. I did not plan on the Flip Flops matching so much, they actually match 'too much' in my opinion, but the other colors in the set didn't go at all with my digi papers, so I decided to just use them anyway.

The sentiment is from 'Limited Run Stamps'.
I hope you have a very Happy Birthday Michelle! And for all my other readers, I hope you have a great day! Amy

Wink Wink Ink's 'Falling Apart'

Hello! Today I have a card to show you that uses an old image from Wink Wink Ink called 'Falling Apart'. It comes with a couple of really sweet sentiments that say 'Friendship is the glue that keeps our lives together, especially when it feels as if everything is falling apart' and 'Thanks for being there'. I actually started using an MFT sketch when making this card, but it ended up going in a slightly different direction than the original sketch. The paper is DCWV 'Animal Crackers'. I put the main image up on dimensionals.
Here is a close up for you:
And I even decorated the inside of my card with the leftover scraps.
Have a great day! Amy

Digital Tuesday Challenge: "Welcome Little One!"

Hello! Before I begin today's Digital Tuesday Challenge, I'd like to first announce a winner for last week's blog hop for those of you who left a comment on my blog. Thanks so much for all the sweet comments by the way; it was so exciting and fun to read so many comments! I usually only get about 4 comments a day, so to have 50 comments to read was pretty exciting! Anyway, without further ado, the WINNER of my blog and thus the winner of 3 digital images from Limited Run Stamps is: LindyLoo, who wrote 'Morning Amy oh what a super image he really makes me smile he is so cute'. Congratulations LindyLoo! You can email Lora at lorascards@aol.com with your choice of digis.

And now onto this week's Digital Tuesday Challenge. Our challenge this week is 'Welcome Little One'. Simply make a baby card or project and use at least one digital element. Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish, and they are giving away 5 digis or 4 digis and one paper pack to one lucky randomly chosen winner.

For my card, I used the Robyn's Fetish image "Playtime". To make my card, I used paper from DCWV 'Nana's Nursery, Baby Girl'. The main image panel is up on dimensionals. I had fun adding lots of baby elements like tiny buttons, ric rac, and a safety pin. I stamped the 'A, B, C' on the blocks because they weren't on the original image and I thought it was cuter that way. I did get the sketch from somewhere, but can't remember where. Sorry. Here is a close up of this cute little bear.

If you'd like to play along with us this week, simply click on the Digital Tuesday Challenge blinkie in my sidebar and it will take you directly to the Challenge Site with further instructions.

Wink Wink Ink's 'Lucy"

If your looking for the Digital Tuesday Challenge 100th Blog Hop Post, click HERE.

Today I have a new Wink Wink Ink Image to show you called 'Lucy'. This is one of the most beautiful dog images I have ever seen; it's great for masculine cards, and also for the female dog lovers out there. To make my card, I used the pre-colored version of the image. I actually made another card where I colored the image myself, and it looked exactly like the pre-colored version. I tell you, these pre-colored images are so perfectly colored, that when they are printed on card stock and on a card, you can't even tell they are pre-colored. I love them. My sketch is SSDS9, and the paper is from DCWV 'The Pets Stack'. I put square brads on the bottom of the card for embellishment. The main image panel is up on dimensionals.

Here is a close up of this image.

Have a great day! Amy

"Welcome Spring"

If your looking for the Digital Tuesday Challenge 100th Blog Hop Post click HERE.

Today I have a card I made for the Penny Black Allsorts Challenge Blog. Their March Challenge is 'Welcome Spring'. Well, living in Northwestern Wisconsin, and STILL getting snow storms, I am very, very anxious for Spring; so this was no challenge at all for me. LOL! I used the Penny Black set 'Teddy and Company' for my card. The paper is Cosmo Cricket 'Togetherness'. The layout is OCLDT10.

Here is a close up so you can see the coloring. I put Stickles on the flowers and butterflies.

Have a great day! Amy

HSC2 'Channeling your inner Movie Star'

If your looking Digital Tuesday Challenge 100th Blog Hop Post, click HERE.

Hello! I have a card to show you that I made for The Hotspot Challenge. This month's challenge is called 'Channeling your inner Movie Star' and they want you to use one of Hallie Berry's dresses as your inspiration. Simply pick a dress from the blog, and use an element from it (the design, texture, color, embellishments) for your card. It sounds complicated, but it's simpler than it sounds.

Here is the card I made using a McMahon Five Designs digital image called "Feminine Perfection". The dress I was inspired by is pictured below, its in the first two pictures of Halle. I simply used a sparkly ribbon the same color as the dress and 'shirred' it like the top of Hallie's dress is. The paper is DCWV 'Once Upon a Time Stack'. The adhesive pearls are from Prima. I used a gold spica pen on the image, but it didn't show up in the photograph. It's very sparkly in real life.
And here are just some of Halle's beautiful gowns. There are more on The Hotspot Blog for you to look at it.

We hope you have time to play along this month!
Have a great day! Amy

Digital Tuesday Challenge 100th Post Blog Hop

Welcome to our first ever Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog Hop. We are celebrating our 100th Challenge this week with a special 'Celebrations' Challenge and lots of prizes. If you have come from Lora's blog, you are on the right track.

Each Design Team Member is featuring one of our Fab Sponsors with a prize from that sponsor. To win these prizes, all you have to do is leave a comment on each of the design team members blogs.

There is also a big prize on the Challenge Blog which in order to win you must enter the challenge as you normally would (remember you can use any digital element, it doesn't have to be a digital image) and then collect all the 'special' letters from the design team members blogs and follow the instructions on the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog when you reach the end of the hop.

My sponsor is Limited Run Stamps and they have very generously gave me 3 digis of the winner's choice to give away.

For my project today, I used the Limited Run Stamps image "Ollie" to make a birthday card for a young child. I printed the image twice, then cut the head out and mounted it up on dimensionals. My sketch is a Mojo Monday sketch flipped on its side. The paper is DCWV 'Nana's Nursery, Baby Boy'. The inside of the card reads 'Happy Birthday!'.

Here is a close up so you can see the dimension better. This image comes with many different sentiments, only two of which I used on my project.

The special letter you need from me is 'C'. And the next stop on the hop is Anne-Marije.

Thanks for joining us for our 100th Challenge Blog Hop and please remember to leave a comment on every blog along the way for a chance to win the prizes!!!.

Here is a list of the Blog Hop order in case you lose your way:
