Cobalt Blue Dress Revisited

Way back in the bitter cold months of January, I shared with you my new cobalt blue dress. from Forever 21.   Because it was winter, I styled the dress for cold weather by wearing black knit leggings, tall black boots, and a black fur vest. You can see that look HERE if you missed.

Back in that post I stated that I thought the dress would work well in the spring or fall because of the short sleeves.  I was right;  for I wore it while vacationing in Florida in February when the temps were in the seventies.  I don't think the dress would work well for summer temperatures because of the knit material and the mock turtleneck, but I was perfectly comfortable wearing it during a warm evening in Florida.

I stayed cool and comfy by going bare legged.  I accessorized the plain dress by adding black gladiator wedge sandals, a pretty black and gold necklace and bracelets, and a silver metallic cross body bag.

I love to use cross body bags when traveling.  They are so tourist friendly!

My shoes are from Sears (old).

I wore my hair in a pony tail to keep cool and comfortable.

All these pictures were taken at Disney Springs.  I will share more about that fun shopping/entertainment district in a future travel post.

I absolutely love it when clothes can do double duty and transcend the seasons a bit;  don't you?

Have a great day!  Amy

  2. Great dress! I love the color on you! And, yes, clothes you can wear during more than one season are fabulous! Since we don't have real seasons here in California, I'm very lucky and get to wear most of my clothes year round.

    Have a wonderful weekend, Amy!
