Happy Birthday to ME!!!!

On Friday, November 28th, I celebrated my 46th birthday. The party actually started the Sunday before when my husband took me to Minneapolis to see the musical 'Wicked'. I had always wanted to see this musical, and what a visual and auditory treat it was. The acting, singing, set and costumes were fabulous! It was the best musical I have ever seen, which is saying a lot considering I saw 'Lion King' on Broadway!

On my actual birthday, we had Thanksgiving Company still with us. My daughter's fiancee and his family came to visit for the holiday. So we all piled in two separate cars and decided to give them a 'scenic tour' of our county. We went to Buena Vista Park in Alma, WI and took these pictures overlooking the Mississippi River. The pictures are of me and my family, my daughter Ashley and her fiancee Jason, and my son Jordan.

After our visit to the park, we went and had ice cream at the Nelson Cheese Factory in Nelson, WI. We then came home and Jason's mom, Renee, and Ashley made this beautiful and delicious cake for me. I also enjoyed a lovely rendition of 'Happy Birthday' being sung to me!

I received many, many cards this year, mostly from on-line friends. I've joked to my husband 'I have more friends on-line than I do in real life!'. Above is a group shot of just some of the cards I've received from family, friends, and on-line friends. Most of the cards came from my Splitcoaststampers BRAK queens. 'Thank you ladies, all your cards are beautiful, and I treasure each and everyone!'

This vintage card came from my very special on-line friend Darlene. We both love anything vintage, and have a special fondness for Crafty Secrets products, so she made me this cute card with their products. Darlene's wedding anniversary happens to be the same day as my birthday, so I sent Darlene a anniversary card made with Crafty Secrets products. I hope you had a wonderfully romantic anniversary Darlene! Thank you so much for this beautiful card! I will treasure it always!

This card came from Cindy. I absolutely love the beautiful designer paper and the scalloped edge. Thank you so much Cindy!

Here are some more BRAK's that were not included in my group photo. I didn't want the ladies to think I never received them, I just forgot to put them in the group shot. Thank you so much ladies! They are absolutely lovely!

I am still awaiting one last birthday card from another thoughtful on-line stamper. She emailed me today that its late, but its coming. So I will just post that one another day. Thank you so much everyone for thinking of me and making my day so special. Amy
