Hello, today I have a new Wink Wink Ink image to show you called 'Rainy Day Friends'. It comes with one free sentiment and also pre-colored and in black and white. The sentiment reads 'Rainy days are always better when spent with a friend'. I used the 'Rainy Days' portion of the sentiment on the front of the card, and put the complete sentiment inside the card. My paper is DCWV 'The Spring Stack'. Here is a close up of the image. I colored it with Copic Markers.

February Christmas Cards
Hello! Well, we had another blizzard here in Wisconsin; it was our second huge blizzard of the year which shut down just about every road, highway, school and business in the area. And now were expected more snow today, tomorrow, and Sunday, so I thought since winter doesn't want to end, I might as well work on my February Christmas Cards. As most of you already know, I participate in the SCS Christmas Card Challenge, where we make Christmas Cards all year long so we don't have to do them all in November/December and drive ourselves crazy! I've committed to making 4 Christmas Cards a month so that I'll have 48 by the end of the year. Here are my cards for the month of February.
The first three cards all use stamps from The Crafter's Companion. These are very large stamps, so I had to enlarge all my cards to about 5 by 6.5. The size of these stamps would make them great for scrapbooks, so I will probably use them on winter scrapbook pages.
The first card uses images from the set "Snow Love". My sketch is from SSD60, and the paper is DCWV 'The Christmas Combo Stack'. I cut the image out and mounted it up on dimensionals and added Liquid Applique to the hats of all three characters. The button is a felt button from JoAnn's. Here is a close up for you.
My second card uses the image "With Love". The sketch is by MFT and the paper is DCWV "The Holiday Collection'. I distressed the tag by wadding it up in a ball, unrolling, and sponging ink on it.
And here is the close up.
My third card uses the image "Snow Buddies". Liquid Applique was added to the hats and the branches, and Crystal Effects was added to the berries to make them shine.
Here is a close up:
And finally, my last card uses a vintage digital image from Vintage Vanities. The image is called "Christmas Puppy with Stocking" I just fell in love with this puppy the moment I saw it. All my life I've wanted a dog that looked just like this, but my husband doesn't like small dogs, so he would never let me get one. Instead, I have had to settle with dogs that weigh more than I do. LOL!

I am the Lord
Hello! This week I'd like to introduce a new McMahon Five Designs image called 'I am the Lord'. I'm always looking for pretty and encouraging scripture stamps and images to send to my church body, so this image was right up my alley. Because the image contains an image and a sentiment, I kept my card layout very simple and let the designer paper be the focus of attention. I cut the image out with a decorative Spellbinders Nestability and sponged the edges with ink. I added Stickles to the dragon fly and its 'trail'. Here is a close up so you can see the Stickles and the quote better.
And now here are the rest of this week's new releases. Enjoy!
Be sure to check out all the species of Real Wood Paper now available.

Hello and welcome to another Digital Tuesday Challenge. This week's challenge is "Punches", simply make a card or project using your punches: border punches, flower punches, whatever! And be sure to include at least one digital element on your card. Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Stamps and they are giving away a $10.00 gift certificate to spend in their store from these three creators: Stitchy Bear Stamps, Mizumedia Designs, and Panda Bear Designs.
To make my card, I used the Stitchy Bear Stamps image 'Duet'. I fell in love with this vintage image the second I saw it, for it reminded me of my own kids and how they sat down and played the piano together when they were younger. I used a sketch from The Sweet Shop (SSS69). The paper is DCWV 'Nana's Nursery, Baby Girl'. I used a Scalloped Border Punch for my challenge requirements. The sentiment was computer generated and reads' We Make Beautiful Music Together'. The notes were made with my Cricut Expression.
Here is a close up of this adorable image.

Snow White
Well, we Wisconsinites have been hit with yet another major blizzard, so I'm snowed in again and couldn't get to work. Having the day off is a good thing, but a smaller paycheck at the end of the week is a bad thing. Ugh! I hate winter. I just have to keep repeating to myself, 'Only 30 more days till Spring, Only 30 more days till Spring'. LOL! Anyhow, because I had some extra time on my hands, I made this card. The image is called 'Snow White' (I know, pretty ironic huh? SNOW white, made on a SNOWY day) and is by Solocosmo, sold at McMahon Five Designs. I used a layout from Verve, and all the paper is either from DCWV or Cosmo Cricket. The Apples are brads. Here is a close up so you can see this beautiful image better:

Wink Wink Ink 'Feelin Blue?'
Hello. My title of today's post really speaks how I feel today. I live in Wisconsin, and everyone is at 'war' with one another today over the government worker union issues. I just hate how one side can't give an opinion without the other side getting angry and being verbally abusive. It makes me feel very 'blue'. It doesn't matter which 'side' of the issue you are on, but please be kind to your brother/sister Wisconsinite.
Anyway, enough about politics, now onto my card for today. This is a new digital image by Wink Wink Ink called 'Feelin Blue'. It comes with a free sentiment too! I used the Sweet Shop Sketch and Cosmo Cricket paper to make my card. Here is a close up of this sad little guy.
