Welcome back to my second post of a Christmas Video Tour of My Home! If you missed the first post, you can catch up HERE.
In my first set of videos, I made a lot of technical mistakes; like not turning the phone sideways when recording. I am happy to report with my second set of videos, I turned the camera the right way! But unfortunately, I can't report that I talked less and the videos are shorter. What can I say? I love my home and my family, and once I start talking about those subjects, I just can't stop!
In my last post I showed you the new addition to my house and the side porch decorated for Christmas. In this post, you will see the main living space of the original house built in the late 1800's and the front porch all decorated for Christmas.
The first video shows the front porch, the dining room, and office. I'm standing in the wind when the first video starts so it sounds a bit muffled, but once I move onto the porch, the noise stops and you can hear me quite well.
Video One: Front Porch, Dining Room, and Office
The second video shows the Living Room, which is where my husband and I spend most of our time. In this room you will see a more elaborate staircase garland than what I did on my sun room staircase.
Video Two: The Living Room
The final video shows my kitchen and small downstairs bath. Every room in my house is decorated for Christmas, even if it's just a little touch, like what is in my kitchen.
Oh, and in this video I couldn't remember the name of the paneling, but I do now. It's called Bead Board Planking. And the soap and lotion came from "Bath and Body Works", not "Bed, Bath, and Beyond" as stated in the video. I don't want to get a store mad at me! The main problem I have discovered about doing videos is "bloopers". If I make a mistake in a post I can edit a single word or phrase without re-doing the entire post. With a video, I would have to re-shoot the entire segment if I made a mistake. Nope, I'm not gonna do that!
Video Three: The Kitchen and Downstairs Bath
Enjoy! I'll complete this series on Tuesday with videos of my upstairs bedrooms and main bathroom.
Once again, if you have any trouble watching these videos on my blog you can see them on my YouTube Channel HERE.
Have a great day! Amy

Glad you managed to sort out the technical issues and you're enjoying the videos and finding them easier to do! :)
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing most of the time - I'll shoot a video in one take. Unfortunately it means I mes up few times, but often I just let it slide. Life isn't perfect, so videos certainly don't have to be either!
