Pretty Pastels From Stitch Fix

Last Friday I mentioned that my April box from Stitch Fix was one of the best boxes I received in a long time.  I've already shown you a cute "Faux Wrap Dress" (HERE), and today I am showing three more pieces I received in that box:  the clutch (also seen on Friday's post), an embroidered top, and light blue pants.

The top is by Pale Sky and is called "Emmy Embroidered Top".  I fell in love with this top the second I pulled it out of the box.  I love white tops in general, and the GORGEOUS embroidery sold me immediately.

The neckline is gathered and can be tied closed or left open.  It has the cutest peach tassels at the end of the cord.  The top is more fitted in the waist area than a typical boho top.

Isn't this embroidery gorgeous?  I love the colors.  I wore this top on Mother's Day and Alethea kept playing with the tassels and tracing the embroidered flowers with her fingers.

The clutch is by Sole Society and is called "Emmet Clutch".

Next up are these pretty pale blue pants by Lila Ryan.  They are called "Kit Button Hem Detail Skinny Pants".

The pants are a super soft thin stretchy material that is so comfortable to wear.  I'm sure I can wear these pants instead of shorts in hot, humid weather and still be comfortable.

I have to admit, it was these cute little buttons that sold me on these pants.  Aren't they an adorable detail?

I loved these pants from the moment I saw them, they will be such a nice alternative this summer when I don't want to wear shorts.  The only drawback to these pants is that there is no belt loop.  If there's any weight fluctuation, these pants will be difficult to keep up without a belt.  Do any of my readers have any suggestions?

I'll let you know next week if I decided to keep any of these pieces, but I'm sure you probably already guessed!  ðŸ˜Š

  1. What a perfect outfit, Amy. Love both pieces and I would be keeping these for sure! The embroidery looks amazing!! And I agree the buttons on the pants are such a cute touch too! I've never done it, but I can imagine it might not be too hard to sew on your own belt loops with matching fabric should you need to...They are such a pretty shade of blue!

    1. Awww, thanks Ellie! I thought if the pants are a problem without belt loops, I would have to try sewing my own on. Wish me luck!

  3. I can see why you love these!! I was going to suggest what Ellibelle did and sew on your own belt loops. Or you can possibly add some elastic on the inside side seam areas to pull it in more??

    1. I was wondering about elastic, or just putting some darts in the waistband. I'm not sure how do elastic. I will have to see if there's any how-to videos on that.
