I was shopping at J.C. Penney a few weeks ago and found these cute olive green cropped skinnies for 80% off! Talk about making my day! And then I even had a coupon good on clearance items, so I got them for less than $5.00. I was ecstatic! I have been looking for a good pair of olive green pants forever. Even though these pants were meant for spring (because they are cropped), I can easily wear them now, in the fall, and in the winter by just adding tall boots because the material is twill.
The temperatures have finally cooled in my area, but not cold enough to warrant tall boots (even though I've seen quite a few women wearing tall boots already). I don't believe in rushing the seasons. I know I will be wearing tall boots long enough once the first snowflake falls, so I'm going to wear my booties or shoes as long as I can.
It was barely sixty degrees the day I wore this outfit, so I added a denim jacket from Express (old). My snakeskin print top is a Barcelona Cami also from Express (old).
For jewelry, I wore a black and gold necklace and gold arrow and diamond bracelets.
The pants are a very soft twill, so they are quite comfortable. I will admit that they did stretch a bit after wearing them for a day. When I put them on in the morning, they felt skin tight. But by the end of the day, I was constantly tugging them back up.
For shoes, I wore my other clearance item I bought from JCP, my open-heeled booties by a.n.a. I've already shown you these shoes when I wore them with this outfit HERE.
As much as I hate the onset of fall for I know it means a long winter is coming, one thing I do look forward to is NEW CLOTHES! I first and foremost enjoy revisiting all my fall clothes that I haven't seen in four months. Pulling out my favorite, old, fall pieces is like finding a new wardrobe. But I also enjoy buying new clothes each season as well. I already shared my new flares I picked up at A&E HERE, but in addition to that, I bought a really cool long sweater, wedge suede booties, and a maxi dress. I can't wait to wear and share my new items.
So what about you? What new fall trends are you hoping to incorporate into your wardrobe? I'd love to hear from you!
Have a great day! Amy

I left my Olive Green Skinnies in Albania. I could use a new pair. Love yours with the python tank and denim jacket. I adore those shoes and the 2 fun cuff bacelets, also. Well done, Amy!
ReplyDeleteI love the color of these pants, and can't believe they were only $5! Perfect with the denim jacket!

I can't get over the snakeskin top you are wearing, I love it! Those olive pants are great, too. I have a pair, but they are more of a forest green and not the most comfortable... so, I don't wear them as much as I'd like.

I am in love with anything olive green this season!!! I can't seem to stop buying it. It is still warm where I live in the South, but I have already started wearing booties with my shorts and dresses.

The skinnies are a great find, and I love the booties with them.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit. I like that olive green is a more interesting color for pants than your basic blue or black, but it still feels enough like a neutral that you can mix and match with it. I too find that a lot of skinny pants get really stretchy by the end of the day. I usually don't wear belts, but that's one time I will!
ReplyDeleteSuper cool booties. I love that they have a cutout in the back. Great for now & later's weather!

I had some Olive colored pants just like these last fall but they got a big tear in them and I had to throw them out, but oh well I will replace them sooner or later. This color is so great for fall I love it.
