Spiral Pop-Up Card

This is a Spiral Pop-Up Card. They are easy and fun to make and make the perfect cards for children. You can find the tutorial here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/spiral_pop_up_card/. If you've never seen a Spiral Pop-Up Card before, when you open the card, the stamped images 'Spring' up. Its a perfect technique if you have a jumping frog, hopping bunny, or fluttering butterfly image.
For my card, I used the retired Stampin Up! set 'Unfrogettable'. The papers I used were Stampin Up! 'Green Galore' and 'Pixie Pink'. I ran the pink card base thru my cuttlebug using the 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder. I used my Stampin Up! 'Scallop Edge' punch on the 'Green Galore' cardstock layer. The frog is mounted up on dimensionals. I also used the butterfly image from Stampin Up!'s 'Flight of the Butterfly' for the inside of the card. All the images were colored with Copic Markers. I used 'Basic Black' and 'Pixie Pink' ink. The lily pad was created with the retired Stampin Up! wheel 'Lily Pad'.
Did you know today is World Card Making Day? Why don't you try making your own Spiral Pop-Up Card in honor of this day? Go ahead, give it a try, the child in your life will treasure it.
God's blessings on you all, Amy
