Seeds of Friendship

This is a scrapbook page I made for a challenge on Splitcoaststampers.com where we were to turn some element on our page upside down. My element is the retired Stampin Up! stamp set 'The World Over'; half the journeling and flowers are upside down. The journeling reads: "Seeds of Friendship bring flowers of Joy"; very appropriate words for the pictures. The pictures are of my friend and her daughter in my garden. Aren't they beautiful? I said to my husband one day, do you realize every friend in my life is beautiful? I do not have one unattractive friend. I have no idea how that happened. I certainly didn't plan it that way. LOL!
For the background papers I used two different sheets of designer paper and a solid sheet of hot pink sponged with 'Purely Pomegrante' to soften it a little. I highlighted the 5 x 7 with the solid sheet because I wanted it to stand out more from the rest of the pictures. I added ribbon, primas, and brads for embellishment.
Thats all for today. I am on my way to church and then I will spend the rest of the day catching up on all the 'World Cardmaking Day' challenges on Splitcoaststampers.com. I've only done two of them so far. What about you, have you made your card yet? Amy
