The village is absolutely gorgeous, filled with tall, beautiful palm trees, old-fashioned lanterns & street signs. I'm sure it's beautiful when it's all lit up at night. We were there during the heat of the day, when the sun was the strongest, so the lighting in my pictures aren't the best.
I almost died when I saw The Cheesecake Factory. I've seen a lot of these restaurants on my travels, but this building was by far the best I've ever seen!
This was another restaurant that looked really interesting and pricey.
I thought this tea place looked really cute! I'd love to try some Chai Tea here someday!
The most fascinating and fun thing we saw in the village were the life-size chess and checkers games.
I loved the elegant shape of this water fountain!
The village has lots of greenery. It is filled with gorgeous layers of tropical plants consisting of tall palms, mixed with shorter ones, and also bushes, cacti, and flowers.
One of my favorite tropical plants is Jasmine because I love the smell!
Hopefully I'll get back to the village on my next visit and I will have more photos and details of this beautiful place.
Have a great day! Amy

It does look beautiful there! Love those lamp posts! I've never eaten at the Cheesecake factory before but always want to whenever we're in Chicago. One of these days we'll have to skip the American Girl store and eat there instead :-) Love the live sized chess. They had one in Salzburg, Austria when we were there, and people were playing chess.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely place to visit! The life size chess board is so fun!

Hopefully, the next time you visit us here in Florida, the heat will be gone. Looks like a fun place to explore.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting us on The Maple Hill Hop this week!
I've eaten at The Cheesecake Factory a few times in Hawaii when we have visited. I love their crab wontons. :)
ReplyDeleteWinter Park looks like a great spot to visit. We too discovered The Cheesecake Factory as an eating place in Hawaii when on holiday there last year. In fact, our grandson's favourite eating place! Mind you, we had to queue each time but hey, you do that on holiday don't you? Carolyn @ Pastimes-Passions-Paraphernalia.org.
ReplyDeleteThat's one might BIG chess set!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, Amy. The soft focus suits the images well.
