A Cool and Comfy Floridian Outfit

This is an outfit I wore in while I was in Florida last week.  It was so cool and comfy!  The skirt is super old, and I've shown it to you numerous times before Here, and Here.   It is one of my favorites.  It is a short, cotton skirt by Joe Fresh that I bought from JCP two years ago.  I will probably have it in my closet forever cause I love it so much!  It's more comfortable than shorts!
Would you believe I picked up my tank top at a home improvement store?  It's actually a ladies undergarment that came in a package of three.  I bought a small since that's my usual size, but when I got home and opened it up I laughed and said "It looks like a little girl's top!  It will never fit me.  Oh, well, I'll save it for pajamas" and there the tanks sat for months not used.  Then, when putting this outfit together, I remembered this peachy tank and thought "That tight tank might be perfect for Florida."  And I was right.  It worked perfectly.  Sometimes you need to buy items that aren't your usual size to suit your outfits or purposes better.
I guess everything in today's post is old, because my wedge sandals from Famous Footwear were purchased a couple of years ago too.  What can I say, summer clothes just don't change much year to year.
My necklace is new though!  I made it myself, and did a DIY post about it HERE, in case you missed it.
I love cross-body bags when traveling, so I relied on my old, nude JCP bag once again.  In addition to my tassel necklace, I wore a beaded bracelet for jewelry.

It was fun having a lot of new backdrops for taking fashion photos when we were in Florida.  When I go back in November and February, I will be taking plenty of extra clothes with me (or borrowing my daughter's clothes) to take lots of pictures!

 Have a great day!  Amy
