Living in the countryside of Northwestern Wisconsin, we don't have a lot of the trendy stores that are available in the big cities. So whenever I travel, I love to shop at all the stores I don't have back home. Zara is one of those stores. If you never read THIS POST, you really must for a good laugh. In that post I share my humorous adventure to my very first Zara store.
While visiting Zara for the first time, I purchased two items: a black cardigan and the knit skirt I'm wearing in today's photographs.
My tank top is from Target (old) and I've shown it to you before with a bright pencil skirt HERE. I love how the top has so many different flecks of color so that it will go with just about anything. It also has several layers of soft, flowing fabric right on the bust line that provides more interest.
Since the top is so busy, I kept my jewelry to a minimum. I wore a simple leaf necklace that I picked up on one of my Colorado trips, and a acrylic brown bead bracelet.
My brown strappy sandals are new this season. I bought them at DSW.
The Zara skirt was a clearance item for only $7.99. It has a long slit right up the front. I think it works well both for summer and winter because of the slit, color, and the knit material. In the winter I could wear it with tights and boots.

I Love this beautiful top - the colors are just gorgeous and remind me of impressionist brush strokes! I can imagine it is a very versatile piece in your wardrobe. I also enjoy shopping at different stores when I am traveling that aren't around where I live. Have a wonderful weekend, Amy!

ReplyDeleteEven though I live in a bigish city, we don't have many of the more trendy stores like Zara or H&M. I love visiting them when I travel too. Glad you got to make your first purchase!

Love the pretty top and glad you found items at Zara that you liked. What I like about Zara is free shipping both ways so you can always order online and have easy returns. I live very close to a Zara but sometimes it's easier to just drop a box off at the post office.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you Thursday.
