2014 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hello!  I know I normally do a fashion post on Friday, but that will have to wait until tomorrow because I really want to play the 2014 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I don't normally play challenges because I don't have the time, but hey, I LOVE coffee and there are a lot of great prizes to be won by everyone who participates.  To read all about it, go HERE.
My coffee card actually started out as a birthday card for a guy.  But I made a stamping mistake and had to cover up it up, and well, one thing led to another and it ended up being a Christmas card.  Oh well, I was about five short this year anyway.

I started by stamping my image directly on the card.  The stamp is retired Stampin Up!  I added a felt heart button and a little bow for embellishment, then I stamped the steam and the coffee beans.

 I put some DCWV Christmas paper on the boo-boo I wanted to cover up.  I then cut a banner out of coordinating green paper using an MFT die and stamped the sentiment there.  The Ho-Ho-Ho sentiment and the Santa Claus were fussy cut out of another sheet of designer paper from the same DCWV Mat Pad.

    Now that is a serious cuppa coffee with all that steam...love it! When we make a stamping mistake we say...smears to you!! I love all the elements on your card.
