Meet 'Spot'

Hello! Today I have a card to show you that is made with a Wink Wink Ink image called 'Spot'. This image comes in black and white and pre-colored. I chose the black and white image, and simply left him black and white, but added some coloring on his ears, mouth, and paws. I colored around the image with the Copic Marker 'Cool Shadow' to bring the image out from the white paper more.

Because the image is so black and white, I kept that as my color theme, but added red for highlight. The sketch is from 'I Love to Stamp'. That is a printed ribbon from JoAnn's behind the heart panel. The heart panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The 'bone tag' is also from JoAnn's Scrap Essentials. The hearts were cut with a Cuttlebug Die, and I stamped the sentiment with Image Tree Alphabet Stamps. Here is a close up of the main image so that you can see the coloring better.

Well it sounds like everyone enjoyed reading about my very first CHA experience, so I'm glad I posted it. For years I kept reading about CHA on other blogs, but no one ever explained what it was. They just posted pics of themselves with 'famous bloggers' or 'booths'. I thought maybe a lot of other people like me really don't understand it either, so an explanation was due. Maybe now even more people will attend the next one! I know I will definitely go again if they come to an area near me!
Have a good day! Amy

  4. Oh Amy,
1st off let me say your cards are ADORABLE & as I look thru your blog I'm learning more & more. I've never enjoyed a post more than the one I just read of yours about CHA !!! So many ladies talk about CHA but I THOUGHT it was just for people who own stores or were on design teams for the stores. Seeing this thru your eyes is so much better. I live in Montana but if one ever gets ANYWHERE close to my area I would go in a heartbeat.
Thank you for sharing this with us who didn't know ... I've enjoyed the "ride"
