For my first card, I used the SC252 layout. The image is from Papertrey Ink 'Holiday Button Bits'. The paper is Cosmo Cricket, Baja Breeze, and Very Vanilla. The leaves are up on dimensionals. My second was also made for the Featured Stamper on SCS 'MitchyGlitchyGloomy'. You can see her original card HERE. I changed the colors and papers, and added some snowflakes, but kept the same layout and image. The image is from MFT.
Here is another card I made for another Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS 'RachaelHope13'. You can see her original card HERE. I changed the image and sentiment placement, but kept the same colors and layout. This image is a retired Stampin Up! Image called 'Sweet Seasons'. I just love vintage images.
This card was sketch challenge SC251. The image is from Penny Black "Jolly Follies". The paper is Papertrey Ink.
I put the sleigh and the first mouse up on dimensionals. Isn't this just the cutest image ever?
My last card also uses an MFT image and a SCS sketch: SC257. I just love this image, because it reminds me so much of myself. I put so much work into Xmas....I decorate every single room in my house (if you'd like to see those decorations, simple scroll WAY back in my blog to Nov/Dec of last year...I did about a dozen postings of all my Xmas Decorations everyday focusing on a different room in my house), throw a huge holiday party for 50 of my closest friends, make a delicious Xmas meal for my family, Xmas Cookies, Xmas shopping, hand-made Xmas gifts/cards, blah, blah, blah, that by the end of the season, THIS is what I look like. LOL! So this image really makes me laugh.

Great cards, Amy! Well done getting them all finished! I'm ALMOST there--got some work to do and no time to do it!!! Oh, well! Hope you're having a lovely Christmas time!
ReplyDeleteYou.ve really been hard at work Amy, I haven't even started mine but c'est la vie I will just have to purchase. Do love all the cards and in particular the one with them pulling the sleigh - superb! Liz x
ReplyDeleteWOW Amy you sure have been busy!!! These are fabulous Christmas cards!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood for your for getting them all done. I'm seriously thinking about going this route myself. It's the 16th and I still have 18 more cards to make. I'm thinking that if I make just 4 per month, I'll be all set for next year and won't be in a last minute tizzy like I am now.
ReplyDeleteI like that you chose blue for your holly leaves to make this a patriotic/holiday card. The curvy patterned paper is really fun with your "build a snowman" image. I like the use of the plaid paper and stitching on your third card. The patterned paper on the fourth card is so cute and goes well with your whimsical themed image. And the paper piecing on the last card is fab.
Wow, these are awesome! You are so far ahead of me. I will be scrambling to finish this weekend. i love the red/white with the pops of blue in some of your cards, very striking!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I adore how you did the little mouse one!
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration Amy! I hope to someday get to meet in person. I like that alot of your cards are non-traditional. They look beautiful. I've been baking all day and it was nice to read through your blog when I finally sat down...like your last card. Thank you! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute, cute, cute .... would you believe I'm STILL making cards to send (including yours, teehee)! So much to do ... so little time to do it!!
ReplyDeleteOf course, if I'd get off the computer, I might be able to get more cards done, teehee!!
Great job my friend!! Happy Holidays!
