Merry Ornaments

Here's a Christmas Card I made using the Inspiration Piece from the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers and today's Sketch Challenge on Paper Craft Planet.
The images are all from Stampin Up! and retired. The sentiment is 'Lots of Thoughts' and the ornaments are from 'Ornamassortment'. I used my Stampin Up! Scallop Punch to cut out the sentiment. Its sponged in Riding Hood Red ink and mounted up on dimensionals. The Designer Paper is 'Holiday Treasures' from Stampin Up!. I used a silver gel pen and Copic Markers to color the ornaments. Ribbon and brads were added for embellishment.
Well your not going to believe this, but I am SO short of Christmas Cards this year, I've decided to pull out the store-bought ones instead of killing myself trying to make more. GASP! Sorry, but its either that or someone doesn't get a card. And I'd hate to see that happen. My Christmas Card list just gets bigger and bigger every year. I made 30 Cards and it took me 3 days because they were so intricate. I will post it once I'm sure all my family and friends have received them. Then I had about 10 or more handmade cards of different styles like this one, but I still didn't have enough. So out came the store bought ones. I figured I need more like 50 or 60 cards, so next year, I will be planning ahead better. Maybe I'll join Splitcoaststampers Christmas Card Group. Those ladies are smart. They work on their cards all year so they don't put themselves in a bind like me! LOL! Till tomorrow, Amy

  1. This card is adorable ...love the ornatments! I know what you mean about NOT having enough. I thought for sure I had plenty because for a month now every challenge I did I usually made a christmas card ... well, I need 60 for those in my address book and that doesn't count the new friends & neighbors. I'd better get busy!!
