Pretty in Pink

The color challenge on Splitcoaststampers yesterday was Stampin Up! "Pink Pirouette", "Kiwi Kiss", and "Chocolate Chip". I used my Stampin Up! 'Pocket Silhouettes' set for the main image panel, and I sponged the edges with both 'Chocolate Chip' and 'Pink Pirouette' inks. I embossed the 'Kiwi Kiss' panel with my Cuttlebug and 'Leafy Branch' embossing folder. I used my sewing machine to zig zag around the edges of the panel. I added primas, brads, and ribbon for embellishment.
If you'd like to purchase this stamp set or any of these colors of cardstock and ink from me, feel free to email me or go directly to my website listed on the right side of this page to order online.
We had our first hard frost yesterday so I need to get outside and toss my hanging baskets of impatients; their creepy, dead foilage is making my vintage house look more like a haunted house! LOL! The frost STILL did not kill my petunia hanging baskets and containers. They seem to be enjoying this cold weather and are thriving! I can't believe I still have beautiful flowers at the end of October. Even though most of our fall foilage is finished, my maple and crab apple trees are just starting to turn colors. I hope to post some fall pictures soon, till then, Amy

  1. Beautiful Amy! Love the image and your stitching is the perfect touch! Petunias are amazing aren't they? This year I planted asters for the first time, and wow, they are also hearty and such big and beautiful blooms! I still have an apple tree left to shed it's leaves. Winter is not far off where I am!

  2. So lovely Amy! I love what you did with the challenge colours. Fabulous flowers, stitching and the luxurious ribbon bow is perfect. I look forward to seeing your fall pictures. Everything is turning here too now although I also seem to still have some summer geraniums blooming which is lovely. Chris
