More Valentines Day Cards

For this week's craft post, I have more handmade Valentine's cards to share.  In last week's craft post I shared two Valentine's cards using the same sketch but different images.  This week's cards are quite a bit different from each other.

My first card uses images from a retired Stampin' Up!  set called "All Wrapped Up".  Even though these old sets are no longer sold, you can always find used one for sale on Ebay or Amazon.

To make my card I stamped the jar image on vellum. I colored the water blue, even though I know tap water is clear, to hide my vellum tape and also to illustrate there is water in the glass.

For the flowers, I stamped the flower image in the set multiple times on the card base, and then I also stamped three flowers on a separate piece of card stock, colored them with pencils, then cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals.

I made a tag for the jar, and punched holes through the vellum and card stock so it would look like a ribbon was wrapped around the jar.

I used sentiments from other stamp sets I had on hand, and then I stamped a few hearts, colored them, cut them out, and randomly glued them on the main card base.

The main image panel was then mounted on a red panel, and then on a white card.

My next card uses another old stamp set from a retired company called JustRite.  The name of this stamp set is "Ellie Time".

The elephant image in this set is HUGE and takes up almost the whole card!  But he is a cutie, isn't he?

I colored him in with Copic markers.

The sentiments, hearts, and mouse image are also from this set.  I love this set! It's so adorable!

Have A Great Day!  Amy

    1. Thanks! Hmm, maybe that’s why I love Valentines Day so much. It was one of the rare days in grammar school where all the kids were nice to each other.

  6. Your cards are so sweet! I like the 3-D look of the flowers and hearts. I bet those Copic markers are awesome to use? The closest I've gotten to those are Sharpies.
