Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  I hope everyone has a safe and happy day today.  Halloween was always one of my favorite holidays when my kids were little.  I would sew all their costumes myself, and they were always the best dressed kids around, if I do say so myself!  I had so much fun taking them to various fall parties and trick and treating.  But even though those days are over, I can still have a little fun with my kids.  My son is still in college, so I like to send him goodie bags for all the holidays.  I sent him a box full of cookies and candy, and this card:

 I always like to keep Halloween cute, not scary.  So I look for adorable Halloween images.  I bought this image several years ago, it is part of a set that has several cute animals dressed up for Halloween.  I colored it in, cut it out, and popped it up on dimensionals.

 My sentiment is actually just designer paper that I cut out and matted.  All the paper is from DCWV "The Halloween Stack".

    Sorry for my lack of commenting lately, had a cousin stay with me for a few days, and although I read your past posts on my Ipad it's not so easy for me to comment from it. So now I am finally catching up.
    This card is really cute. I bet your son was so happy to receive it and the goodies you sent him. I too prefer cute over scary when it comes to Halloween, in fact, I am shocked over some of the Halloween decorations and costumes you can buy nowadays.
