Every Wednesday Dustin Pike gives away a free digital image on his blog http://dustinpike.blogspot.com/ for his readers to download. Last week Wednesday, he gave away two cute graduation images: one boy and one girl. I needed boy cards, so I made two graduation cards using his boy images.
For my first card, I used the May sketch from Sheetload of Cards. The photo corner is a Sizzix Die and the adhesive stars are from JoAnns. The image was colored with Copic Markers. The card stock colors are White, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Ballet Blue, Bordering Blue, and Chocolate Chip. The sentiment is Stampin Up! 'Congrats'.
For my second card I used this months sketch from Sheetload of Cards. I embossed the Brocade Blue panel with the Congrats! Embossing Folder from Cuttlebug.
I never finished all my planting of annual flowers yesterday. I ran out of potting soil, but I did not run out of flowers. Thank goodness! I spent enough money already. Now I work all weekend so I won't be able to get to it till Monday. However, my son is having wisdom teeth taken out that day, so I don't know if I'll even be able to get anything done that day. Other than driving him to and from the Oral Surgeon's Office, I don't know how much he will need me. Usually the kids just sleep for 24 hours after having that ordeal done! Poor kid. I still remember when I had my wisdom teeth removed. Ugh! But what are you going to do? Its one of life's experiences almost everyone has to go through.
Have a good day! Amy
