Hello! I have a couple of really cute cards to show you today; so I hope you like 'cute' because this post is sticky sweet today! I found these adorable pre-made felt critters at a fabrics and crafts store and fell absolutely in love with them. We have a lot of foxes and coons where we live, and although the farmers hate them, I love them! The foxes especially are so pretty, and when I see a baby raccoon I just swoon. I know they can both wreck havoc to livestock and plants, but they are so pretty you just have to forgive them!
For my first card, I actually cased this card HERE. I loved how the artist had the stamped fox image peeking through the hole, but instead of using a wood grain embossing folder like she did, I used some printed Kraft paper from DCWV instead. I felt it was bolder and the colors in the grain went well with the fox. I also moved the sentiment.
Here's a close up of this sweetie.
For my next card, I created a little scene for my sleepy raccoon using my Cricut Expression and a Darice Cloud embossing folder. I embossed the tree truck with a wood grain embossing folder and cut the grass with a Fiskars Border Punch. The sentiment was also cut with the Cricut. I stamped leaves on the trees so that it didn't look so boring.
And here is a close up of this cutie.
I hope these furry felt critters brought a smile to your face today. They certainly do for me!
Have a great day! Amy
