Susie Squirrel Loves Dandelions

I made this card for this week's Sketch Challenge on Paper Craft Planet. The image is a Digital Image called 'Susie Squirrel Loves Dandelions' from Digital Stamp Oasis. Just click on the blinkie in my sidebar if you want to go to the Digital Stamp Oasis Store. I colored the image with Copics. The card stock colors are White, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, and Blush Blossom. The tag is a Cuttlebug Die.
I love this image. Its so sweet and it reminds me of when I was a child and I use to gather bouquets of dandelions myself. I thought they were such a beautiful flower and I was always disappointed when I woke up the next morning to discover my beautiful bouquet of flowers withered away. Now of course they are nothing but a curse to me! LOL! I spent most of the week digging the little buggers out of my flower beds. And you don't want to see my lawn in May. Its mostly yellow, not green. LOL! But in spite of all the frustration this little 'flower' gives me, it still somehow holds a special place in my heart; so I can't ever be too mad at them! Have a good day, and I hope you have special time to make your own bouquet of 'flowers' to give to someone you love! Amy

  2. What a pretty card. I can empathize with the gardening thing. Sometimes the more time I fuss over everything, the less happy I am with it. But I wouldn't want to go back to the barren wasteland my yard was when we bought the house so I keep at it.
