Here is the card I made for the blog Digital Tuesday Challenge . The challenge this week is to use your Digital Images and make a card or project that has at least one tag on it. I made a pocket card, and inside the pocket is a tag. The digital image is from Fred, she said', and you can find the store here: http://fred-she-said-store.blogspot.com/ I loved Tracey's Digital Images so much, I just purchased three more from her yesterday.
To make this pocket card, I used Wild Wasabi as my card base. If you've never made a pocket card before, there is a wonderful picture tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. Just click on the link in my sidebar and it will take you to the site. The designer papers are from DCWV 'Summer Stack'. The image is one of Tracey's newest digital images called 'Emma and the Butterfly'. I cut it out and mounted it up on dimensionals. The butterfly on the tag is from MyGrafico. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado; the only non-digital image on my card.
If you'd like to play along this week, just click on the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blinkie in my sidebar and it will take you there. The winner, chosen randomly, will receive three digital images from Fred, She Said.
Have a great day! I actually have the day off, FINALLY, so I plan to spend it catching up on household chores, crafting, and then a card class at my local scrap booking store tonight. Amy
Oh, this is a fun, happy card! I love the pocket card/tag combination!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute ... good job!!! You are really getting good with these "digi" images ... I really must make time to check them out. BTW .. I can't believe I didn't do it before, but I just signed on as a follower ... don't know how that slipped by me!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little girl image this is. I like how you cut out around her and put her on the front of the pocket. What a fun tag too. I'm sure the recipient will have fun opening this.
ReplyDeleteBtw... I think you misread my post about my limes card. I DO really like this one whereas most of my cards are just ok.
Hope your work hours improve. I know what you mean about planning your life around work. Although I have pretty regular hours and days, my hubby's schedule changes constantly. He's law enforcement and usually works night shifts which he loves because that's when all the criminals are out. But it means with me on days that we rarely see each other. Maybe that's the reason we have been married almost 20 years and are still so happy together :-)
Wow this is wonderful! I love the soft sweet look you created through your use of color and papers! I'm going to check this out!
ReplyDeleteOh this is great!!....wonderful colors and I love the dimension on that sweet little girl. BEAUTIFUL!
