Be Cool!

I made this card using a free digital image by Tim Hunter for Hambo Stamps called 'Cool Cat'. Isn't he cute? I'm sending it to the husband of a friend of mine whose birthday is actually TODAY, so it will be a little late. The image just so reminds me of Julian, relaxing is something he just LOVES to do, so I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it.
The card stock colors are Apricot Appeal, Ruby Red, Tempting Turqoise and White. The Designer Paper is from DCWV 'The Spring Stack'. I used the Stampin Up! Scallop Border Punch on the white panel. I used my sewing machine and stitched all around the card and on the designer paper. The image was colored with Copic Markers.
Well I had a VERY BUSY weekend. I worked all day Friday, and on Saturday I was at State Solo and Ensemble with my husband and son all day. He did very, very well. He got perfect scores on all four of his events AND he received TWO 'Exemplary Soloist Awards' for an 'Outstanding Musical Performance' for his Marimba Solo, and Parade Drum Solo. Then, on Sunday I worked all day again, and I finally got on my computer today. So if I haven't visited your blog yet, please forgive me. I promise to drop by and say 'Hi' to you all tomorrow.
Have a great day! Amy

How terrific that your son did so well. So how is work going now that you have been there a while?

  4. Love this card. I never thought of looking for free images instead of buying sooo many stamps. Isn't it amazing how busy the end of the school year can be. I commend you for taking the time to stamp. If I could figure out how to craft while on the treadmill I would be in good shape.
