How to Style Black and White with Ageless Style

Ageless Style is a monthly style challenge and link up for women of all ages. Each month we pick a different theme and style an outfit based on that theme. This month's theme is "Black and White" and was picked by Marsha.

I have always been a fan of wearing black and white, so when Marsha picked it as a theme, I knew I would have plenty of options. I have worn black and white so many times that my closet is filled with those colors. I have also done a ton of past fashion posts on this color theme because I wear it so much. I really didn't need to go out and buy any new black and white items, and I couldn't think of any way to show you new ways of styling my old black and white clothes, so I just decided to show you all the different ways I've worn black and white in the past. Black Top with White/Grey Striped Linen Pants

Here I paired a black dressy top with white linen pants and white sandals. The pants have a grey stripe in them. I wore this outfit to church on a hot summer day. The linen pants and sandals kept me cool, but the chiffon sleeves of the tops made the whole outfit more dressy than if I would have just worn a black tee shirt.

Here I made the classic black and white combo a little more fun by carrying a black and white gingham bag with a hot pink tag. This is a very dressy, Audrey Hepburn style of outfit with the black pencil pants, espadrilles, and red lipstick.

In the photo above, I added a soft, pastel mint green bag to my black and white outfit for a pop of color. In the next two photos below, I added brightly colored bags to create a strong pop of color in my black and white outfits.

My last photo shows an outfit I wore on a date night, yes, black and white can be romantic. The off-the-shoulder top is perfect for date nights.
