Ageless Style is a monthly style challenge and link up for women of all ages. Each month we pick a different theme and style an outfit based on that theme. This month's theme is "Spots and Dots" and was picked by Mireille.
Yes, Monday is the first day of spring, but we are still buried under snow here in Wisconsin. The snow just won't stop falling! I feel like I'm trapped inside a snow globe and can't get out! When Mireille picked "Spots and Dots" for this month, I looked in my closet and the only thing I had were some leopard print flats and a summer polka dot dress: both completely inappropriate for this kind of weather. So I decided to use a little creative license and show you this cute, cuddly "new to me" sweater that has something that looks more like "splats" than "spots" or "dots".
There's a debate in my house over whether these are snowflakes or flowers. I think they are flowers, or "splats". ha ha! Whatever you want to call them, I sure do love them!
Now be sure to check out how the rest of the ladies in the group are styling their "Spots and Dots" and be sure to link up with us as well.
Have A Great Day! Amy

You look great. Really nice sweater :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYour splats are wonderful and absolutely perfect for the weather. I do feel your pain with the weather. When does spring usually arrive?
Deletebosbodaciousblog.blogspot.ca
Thank you. I don't really know when spring usually arrives cause it can differ every year. And then we can have some nice warm temperatures, then it'll suddenly get cold again or even a blizzard. We had a blizzard on Easter Sunday three years ago! But usually after Mother's Day we can expect the temperatures to be more consistent.
Deleteoh we are buried in snow here too in Ontario. Longing for spring, as you must be too! Your sweater looks very nice, and I think they are flowers too.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm sorry you are also buried in snow, I'm happy to have an empathetic on-line friend who knows what I'm going through. It seems most of my on-line friends are experiencing spring already. Yes, I'm longing for spring. Our winters are so long, and the transitional seasons are always too short. Thank you.
DeleteI love the sweater. I wish we had more of your kind of weather to enjoy thick sweaters like that. But our winters are fairly mild in the desert Southwest.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Well even in our winters, we tend not to wear these type of sweaters unless we plan to spend a lot of time outdoors or it's bitter cold, otherwise they're too warm indoors.
DeleteSo much snow!! It snowed twice here last week but luckily only a couple of inches each time and looks like it went up north.
ReplyDeleteYour sweater is beautiful and looks so cozy! The flower splats make it perfect for this time of the year too!
Yep! But thankfully we had a couple of warm days in the 40s and a lot melted. However, now we're back in the 20s for a couple of days. It's probably a good thing, because if it melted too fast we would have flooding. Thanks so much!
DeleteSnow, snow, snow! It's wild how much some areas are getting! I love how warm and cozy your sweater is.

Yep! So much for global warming ha ha. Thanks so much!
DeleteThat is a super cute sweater!! All my spots and dots (the whole 3 tops I own with dots) are definitely more appropriate for summer too but I finally made something work. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yes, that was my situation as well.
DeleteOh that sweater, jeans, and boots are so cute on you, Amy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda!
DeleteThanks Linda!
DeleteI love how you got creative with the theme Amy. I will agree when you see the pattern up close they look like flowers, but splats are more fun to say!!

Thank you. Yea, I enjoyed "splats" over "flowers"
DeleteWe keep getting snow too and I'm so ready for spring. Your sweater is so cute and cozy! The print does look like snowflakes!

I think by this time of year, all the northern states are tired of snow and cold. Thanks so much!
DeleteThat's a very nice sweater and perfect photos in the snow to go with it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy!
DeleteOh I can't get over all the snow you have. We have had a few flurries here and then but no accumulation.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's been a crazy snowy year for us.
DeleteYour sweater is the perfect garment to wear for snow-scene photos. I like how you've styled it with the leggings and ankle boots. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 57.
