Summer Whites with Ageless Style

Ageless Style is a monthly style challenge and link up for women of all ages.   Each month we pick a different theme and style an outfit based on that theme.  This month's theme is:  "Summer Whites" and was picked by Rosemary.


When Rosemary picked "Summer Whites" as our theme I was all game for that as white is my favorite color to wear in the summer.  I just love how cool and comfy white is to wear in the heat, and I also love that anything goes with white!  It's the easiest color to coordinate with.


My favorite way to wear white is with bright, bold color.  I just love the way all the color just pops when paired with white.

I picked up this beautiful coral Michael Kors top from TJ Maxx.  TJ Maxx has been one of my favorite stores to shop as of late.  One just has to be patient, and check back often.  Some weeks I find a motherhood of amazing clothes, and other weeks I leave empty handed. 



I accessorized with a white handbag with gold embroidery, and for jewelry I chose coral earrings, a simple white pearl necklace, and a white beaded bracelet with some coral beads in it.  

My shoes are also new this year from TJ Maxx.  They are super comfy and have the trendy braided straps that are all the rage right now.


My pants are from Talbots.

    I tend to pair white with bright pops of color too! You look lovely and I just LOVE that bag.

    This outfit is stunning Amy. I think white is truly my favorite color all year long. It pops any other color or neutral so wonderfully.
    TJMaxx used to be my drug of choice before I started thrifting, haha

      Thank you. I know white is acceptable to wear all year long now, but in Wisconsin, it just looks and feels weird to white in winter...ha ha. I do have a white parka that gets a lot of attention every time I wear it.

      Thank you! The bag was purchased at DSW years ago. I actually saw another blogger with it first, then I went and searched for the bag and bought one myself. I rarely do that.

      Thank you. Oh, I know, TJMaxx requires a lot of patience. We have a smaller store, so that helps. There's not that much merchandise to go through. But I also found if you're in a hurry to just shop the perimeter...that's where they put all the new stuff.

    What a stunning color in that great top. I like the puffed sleeves, too. Very pretty color on you. I feel the same way about TJ Maxx - it's feast or famine. But I have found some cute things there at very reasonable prices. You are looking especially trim. Great look.

    I apologize if I'm commenting twice. Was in the middle of it when my hubby needed something then when I got back it was hours later and I have no idea if I published my comment or not LOL.
    Anyway, I am so loving the coral with white, the tan shoes really work so well with this look too and I am sure they were such a good buy as they will go with everything! I love my white jeans and shorts but don't wear them too often. They always seem to be "too dressy" for my casual daily life :(

      I only got one comment, so no worries. Yes, I got the shoes for around $20 I think. I just love them and like you said, they go with everything. You need to wear your white jeans and shorts! I don't think they are dressy at all.
