Yellow with White Jeans From Stitch Fix

Well, as I sit and write this post, our grandson has yet to make an appearance in this world.  He is just taking his sweet time and apparently has no idea how impatient we are all growing waiting to meet him.  Every time the phone rings or dings I literally jump out of my skin and think "Is it time? Is it time?"  I seriously don't know how much longer I can go on like this. But every time I begin to throw a pity party I think of my sweet daughter who is having even a worse time.  I think the wait has been especially hard because we missed Alethea's 2nd birthday party and we didn't get to spend the 4th of July with our kids.  We couldn't make the long trip twice too close together, so we had to spend it apart this year.  That was rough for me.  I always miss not being with my children on holidays.  So, we did nothing for the 4th.  I didn't want to go anywhere only to be suddenly called away.  I spent the day weeding, trying not to cry, while the hubby worked fixing our front porch roof.

But now that I'm still home,  I decided I might as well return to a regular blogging schedule until I hear otherwise.  Last Monday I showed you the first piece of my June Fix:  a white polka dotted top.  This week I am sharing my second item from that box, a pair of white jeans.

Before I continue with my review, can I first say how wonderful it is to have a beautiful flower garden to post in again?  It makes photo shoots so much easier than taking pictures indoors.

The jeans are by Cosmic Blue Love, the same brand these coral pants are from that I kept from a previous Fix.  This a great brand for me.  The fit is fabulous for my body type.  The name of the pants are "Adrianne Boyfriend Jean".

I styled the top with a yellow top I already owned and then I accessorized with yellow jewelry.  I chose a gingham bag to add a pop of fun to the outfit.  My footwear are jeweled thong sandals I picked up at a gift shop.  They have great arch support (unusual for a thong sandal) and are super comfy.

The pants fit great, like almost all Stitch Fix pants do, but honestly I did not need them.  I already own a pair of white jeans, and I didn't think I was ready for a new pair.  I was actually a little perplexed why Stitch Fix sent me another pair of white jeans as they sent me a pair last year (which I returned, see that post HERE) and I told them then I already owned white jeans.  Maybe they thought it's been a year, and I could use a new pair.  I noticed I had a new stylist, so maybe she didn't look into what I had received in previous Fixes before putting my box together.  Who knows?

If you are looking for a great pair of white jeans, I can recommend these!  They are just the right thickness to not be too heavy for summer, yet not too thin so you can see through them.  Very comfortable to wear too!

If you've never tried Stitch Fix before, use my REFERRAL CODE to receive $25.00 off your first box.

And remember, if I disappear from Blog Land, you will know Baby Atticus has finally decided to say "Hello World!"  I'll post pictures as soon as I can!

Have a Great Day!  Amy

  12. Adding that gingham bag and those darling sandals made this outfit even more special. Great fit on those jeans. But I can understand not adding another of something you already have. We have been doing Weight Watchers and while I have only lost 6-8 pounds (depending the day), nothing is fitting exactly right. But I can't afford new clothes. Need to concentrate more on toning up and less on losing weight.

    1. Thank you! Yes, I can relate to the weight loss thing. It takes such discipline for me to be thin, and I don't always have it. I have given away so many clothes, only to regain the weight again and wishing I had the clothes back. Now I just keep everything, cause I never know what size I'm gonna be month to month...ha ha!
