Hello! For this week's Fashion Over Fifty post I wanted to show you a dress I wore last fall, in a cooler summer style. As I said in my original post, this dress was meant to be worn in warmer months. However, I bought it on clearance at the end of the year, so I styled it for colder weather in that post. Well, we were meeting friends for dinner yesterday and I wanted to wear something casual, comfortable, yet dressy at the same time, so I pulled out my old chambray dress and restyled it for warmer weather. It looked so different that even my husband asked 'Is that new?', when he saw it.
I worn a off-white, braided woven belt around my waist, and tied it in a knot.
My linen Bohemian scarf is from Forever 21.
I found these cute black gladiator sandals at Sears. They have a pretty gold metallic accent down the front and a zipper at the heel. They are very comfortable to walk in.
I don't know about you, but I love getting multiple uses out of the same outfit and I'm thrilled that I can wear something in different seasons just by making a few basic changes.
Have a great day! Amy

The chambray dress is really cute. I love how classic chambray is and you know I am all for multitasking my outfits. :) Small changes make everything look fresh. Your dress is very pretty with those sandals and scarf. XOXO, Elif

I know I already commented on this outfit on GC, but I thought I'd hope over here and tell you again how cute this dress is. I also wanted to let you know that I've nominated you for a Liebster Award. I don't remember if you have done one before in the past or not, but if you'd like to participate you can see my post on it here>http://beautifuldreamerami.blogspot.com/2014/06/liebster-award-strikes-again.html
