Valentine Romance

The past few days I've been showing you more 'Cutesy' Valentines, so I decided I needed to show you more grown-up ones. All of these cards were made using one stamp set: Crafty Secrets 'Cherish'. Crafty Secrets is one of my favorite Stamp Companies. All their images/products are vintage reproductions...and you should all know by now I love anything vintage!

The first two cards use a very glittery paper from DCWV the 'All Dressed Up Stack'. It is so sparkly and glamorous in real life! The red designer paper is from Basic Grey and is punched with the Martha Stewart Lace Border Punch. I embossed both of the sentiments with black embossing powder and they are mounted up on dimensionals. I added ribbon, fabric flowers, and adhesive crystals and pearls for embellishment.

The next two cards have more of a 'Shabby/Chic' look. The designer paper is all Basic Grey. The images are embossed with gold embossing powder and colored with Stampin Up! markers. The hearts are mounted up on dimensionals.

This last card also uses this month's challenge sketch on Caardvarks. I added adhesive pearls for embellishment.
Some of you have noticed I changed my header. It finally snowed again here in Wisconsin so I decided to grab my camera and take some Winter Garden pictures. Even though my home Christmas Tree and Decorations are still up (I won't have time to take them down till February! LOL!), I thought the Christmas season has long since passed, and the header needed to be changed. I've decided to change my header four times a year: once for every season. When Spring arrives, you will see a Spring Garden Picture for my header. For now, enjoy the snow.
Have a great day! Amy

  9. These are very grown up. I like the first two black and white with just a pop of red. And the second two have a vintage feel to them.
