I was interested in this top because I love to wear leggings in the winter but I'm always struggling finding tops long enough to cover my butt and my front side. I am 5'7, plus I have a very long torso, so a top that might be long enough for most women, isn't long enough for me. I usually end up wearing short dresses with my leggings, and those can sometimes be too long making me look frumpy.
This top is the perfect length to wear with leggings. It is just long enough in front to cover the "you know what", without being too long that it looks frumpy.
And the back is the perfect length too; providing perfect coverage without being too long.
The top is edged with two layers of flouncy chiffon. I really like this added detail, however, I did have to spray the chiffon with Static Guard to keep it from clinging to my ponte knit pants.
I styled my top with a long pendent leaf necklace and multi-strand gold bracelet (both from Stitch Fix, old).
For footwear I chose my old Liz Claiborne booties.
This top is available in both long sleeve and short sleeve in a wide selection of colors. I chose Emerald Green because it is the one color I don't have much of in my closet and it's also a color I think will really be trending soon. I'm wearing a size Medium for reference. It does tend to run large, so if you're worried about this style of top making you look like you're wearing a tent, I'd size down if I were you.
So what about you? Do you buy clothes from Amazon? Have you found any good deals lately? I'd love to hear from you!

That is such a cute tunic! I like the layers :) Our Amazon doesn't have as much variety as the american one, so I've never bought any clothes there! Although I have the opposite problem from you - I'm so short almost all tops are tunic length on me, haha!ReplyDelete
Hope that you had a wonderful weekend :) I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :)

Thanks Mica! I envy that you don’t have to worry about tops, especially dresses being too short on you. I linked up with you! Thanks for the link up!Delete
That is a super cute top! I love the color too. I have bought a few shirts from Amazon. One became my absolute favorite but others tended to look pretty awful after just a few washings. It's so hard to judge quality based on the photos...ReplyDelete
Thank you! I’m crazy about the color! I so agree about judging quality with photos. I always read the reviews, though those can sometimes be too picky too.Delete
Love this top, green is my favorite color! The tiered hem is so pretty!ReplyDelete
I love this color, Amy. And what a perfect length for you too! I haven't ordered clothes yet from Amazon, but heard about their new feature of "try before you buy". I have been buying more clothes online recently (and even shoes!) and with good luck (Nordstrom, Loft and Zappos.) I figured I can always return/ exchange them if neccessary. Oh, not to be an enabler, but Loft has everything 50-60% off with free shipping today :-) I ordered a pair of pants I had my eyes on.ReplyDelete
Thanks Ellie! I heard about the "try before you buy" on Amazon too. Maybe I need to check that out. I didn't know about the Loft sale. I'll have to check it out! Thanks for letting me know!Delete
Such a lovely shade of green on you Amy!ReplyDelete
Thank you, I just love this color!Delete
