Crafty Secret Challenges

I made these cards for a couple of Crafty Secrets Challenges. The first card was made for this week's Crafty Secrets Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. We were challenged to use text/script on our card. So I stamped a recipe card image from retired Stampin Up! 'Recipe Fun' and hand wrote a poem from a See D's stamp. The little chef and bowl are images from Crafty Secrets 'Little Chef' and are both mounted up on dimensionals. The card stock colors are white and Real Red. The Real Red card stock is embossed with the Cuttlebug. The images are colored with Copic Markers.
The second photograph shows a side view so you can get an idea of the dimension.

My second card was made for both the Sketch Challenge and the Crafty Secrets Challenge on Paper Craft Planet. The Crafty Secrets Challenge was to make a monochromatic card. I used this cute image from the Crafty Secrets 'Feeling Yucky' set. The card stock colors are white, Yo Yo Yellow, Summer Sun, and Barely Banana. The image was colored with SU! markers. The Barely Banana panel was embossed with the Cuttlebug Folder 'Swiss Dots'.
I went to another garden center yesterday and FINALLY bought the rest of my annuals. There's not much left this time of the year. Everything is pretty much picked over. I plan on spending the day making the rest of my containers and hanging baskets. Hopefully I bought enough and won't have to make another trip to the garden center again!
Have a great day! Amy

  1. That little duck is just too cute...he pulls at my heartstrings. Both your cards are great..Happy Planting!

  2. what a precious duck card and I love how you created the first card like a recipe card--very clever!

  3. These Crafty Secrets creations are just TOO adorable!! I love them both but the recipe card idea is my favorite ... you are just so clever!!

  4. Absolutely adorable! That duck is so cute and I love your card!

  5. Love that sweet little duck, and the recipe card is super cool with that cute image and the gingham!

  6. These are both cute. I especially like the colors you chose for the first one because the child's image reminds me of the Campbell Soup kids and the colors are like thier labels.
