Happy Birthday Princess!

Yes! I was finally able to log onto Splitcoaststampers (SCS) and do the Inspiration Challenge: my favorite weekly challenge! This week's Inspiration Pieces came from the French Bull Store. I chose the children's plates in the first picture as my Inspiration. Because I send lots of birthday cards to little girls in my church, I decided to make a birthday princess card. What little girl doesn't like the Disney Princesses or dream of being a princess herself?

To make my card I picked a piece of Designer Paper from 'The Pocket Full of Posies' stack by DCWV that looked most like the background of the Inspiration Piece. I rounded the corners of both the card and the designer paper. I created a frame using the Cut and Emboss Oval Frame by Cuttlebug. The sentiment is computer generated. The image is from 'Disney Princesses' by Inkadinkado. It is colored with Copic Markers and mounted up on dimensionals. Sequin flowers and adhesive crystals were added for embellishment.

Have a wonderful day! Amy

  2. Glad you could finally get on SCS. It is frustrating when it's slow or down.

This is a cute take on the princess theme.

  3. How cute! I think it's wonderful that you send cards to the little ones at church...how thoughtful. I bet they love receiving them in the mail.
