Pure Innocence "A Little Birdie Told Me"

I have a sweet feminine card to show you today.  The main image is a Pure Innocence digital stamp.  The sentiment and notes are retired Stampin' Up!

I did a very simple layout;  just two layers of white card stock with a pretty pink designer paper behind.  The scalloped rectangle was cut with a Spellbinder's Nestability Die, and mounted up on dimensionals.

The only embellishment I used were white sequins.

Another Long Cardigan

I am absolutely loving all the long cardigans and I can't stop buying them!  I can't help it! They are so pretty, figure flattering, and practical for my climate.  So far I've shown you a beige long cardigan worn with flares HERE, and a grey cardigan worn with distressed boyfriend jeans HERE, and today I am wearing  a burgundy cardigan  with straight leg jeans!

Like the other two cardigans I have shared with you, this one was also purchased from J.C. Penney.  It is by Worthington, and what's unique about this one is the buttons down the front.

I wore my cardigan with a white camisole from Express (old) and my new Liverpool straight leg jeans from Stitch Fix.

Here's the back of the sweater.  I love the length!  This sweater will look great with leggings too because it covers the butt!

 For jewelry I wore a beaded triangle necklace I received from Stitch Fix and a wide, gold glitter bracelet.

I also wore my new suede wedge booties which are hardly new anymore since I think I've shown them to you a half a dozen times now.  But they are still new to me!  I just love them, they go with just about everything, so I have been wearing them a lot.

Winter Park Village Florida

 Winter Park Village is an affluent outdoor shopping mall in Winter Park, Florida.  My family and I were there for only a short while back in August, but I hope to spend more time there next week.  My son and husband had to pick something up from a music store there, so my daughter and I walked around a bit to investigate.

The village is absolutely gorgeous, filled with tall, beautiful palm trees, old-fashioned lanterns & street signs.  I'm sure it's beautiful when it's all lit up at night.  We were there during the heat of the day, when the sun was the strongest, so the lighting in my pictures aren't the best.

I almost died when I saw The Cheesecake Factory.  I've seen a lot of these restaurants on my travels, but this building was by far the best I've ever seen!

This was another restaurant that looked really interesting and pricey.

  I loved their outdoor seating area.

I thought this tea place looked really cute!  I'd love to try some Chai Tea here someday!

The most fascinating and fun thing we saw in the village were the  life-size chess  and checkers games.

 You can actually play the games!  You pick up and move the pieces around.  Here is my son holding one of the checker pieces so you can get an idea of the scale.  That is my daughter and husband in the background.

I loved the elegant shape of this water fountain!

The village has lots of greenery.  It is filled with gorgeous layers of tropical plants consisting of tall palms, mixed with shorter ones, and also bushes, cacti,  and flowers.

One of my favorite tropical plants is Jasmine because I love the smell!

Hopefully I'll get back to the village on my next visit and I will have more photos and details of this beautiful place.
