Stitch Fix Review #25: Red Floral Bell Sleeve Top

On Monday's Fashion Post I shared a Dolman Knit Top I received in my 25th box from Stitch Fix.  The second item I'm showing from this box is this Red Floral Bell Sleeve Top.

Skies Are Blue Fairly Tie Detail Blouse

Status:  Returned

I really liked this top.  I thought it was really pretty and I don't have a lot of red in my closet.  However, I returned it because there were three other items in my Fix I liked a whole lot more plus I just received a similar top from Stitch Fix just a few months earlier (you can see that top HERE).  I also wasn't thrilled with the tie detail on the sleeves.

I styled the top with a pair of grey jeans that was also sent in this Fix.  I kept those jeans, and will share more about them in a later Fix.

Overall it was a cute top that fit me well but my closet is already filled with enough floral items.

Next week I'll be taking a week off from blogging because I will be visiting my children in Illinois!  I can't wait to see my sweet Alethea again and kiss those adorable cheeks.  When I return the following week I'll show you the three items in this Fix that I kept plus do a review of the entire box.

I still haven't tried the Stitch Fix yet, but I'm getting interested because it's nice to try out what other's think you might like.

    1. Thanks Jodie! I had a great break. Stitch Fix is a little pricey, but they have very unique items not available to me where I live and it's so much fun to get a box every month.

    1. Thanks Ellie! I had a great time. It was a pretty top, but I already had a similar top in maroon from Stitch Fix.

  3. You know that I always admire your ability to pack up some of the cutest things and return them to Stitch Fix. I have decided the problem, if you can call it that, is that EVERYTHING looks great on you!!! No one could afford to keep EVERYTHING so you have to be selective. But this top is adorable the way you paired it with those great gray jeans.
So glad you are going to be snuggling your baby girl and her baby girl. Enjoy every precious moment. Safe travels.

    1. Oh thank you Leslie, you are so sweet. I actually would keep every single piece Stitch Fix sends me if I could. There are very few items that they have sent me that I 'hated'. But when you do monthly Fixes you have to be selective or you'll go broke really fast. I had a great time with Alethea this week. She is so much fun.

  4. It is a lovely red top, and you look great in red! but I can see why you didn't keep it, I'm not a fan of those tie sleeve details either.

Hope that your weekend is off to a good start and you enjoy your time with your kids :)

    1. Thanks Mica, yes, I liked the red but wasn't a huge fan of the ties. I had a great time with the kids.
