My best friend's husband's father just passed away so I was in need of yet another sympathy card. Then, after I just finished making this one, I opened up the newspaper and discovered another friend had lost her brother-in-law. So I will have to make another sympathy card. Like most paper crafters, sympathy cards are my least favorite to make and always difficult.
To make my card I used two very old retired Stampin Up! sets: "So Very", and "All Wrapped Up". The flowers were stamped twice, then one set was cut out and mounted up on dimensionals. I added Stickles and a dew drop to the center of the flower. The scroll beneath the sentiment is a rub on. The inside of the card simply reads 'Sorry'. Here is a close up so you can see the dimension.
Hi Amy I agree it is one of the most difficult cards to make but I think you have done a superb job with this one.

A very sweet card for a somber occasion. Love your little popped up blooms. So sad to hear about anyone passing. My heart goes out to the family.
