I've always liked the flower image in the retired Stampin' Up! set "Happy Harmony" but I'm not entirely sure exactly what flower it's suppose to be. It always reminded me of a dandelion, so that's what I'm calling it! Although, it could possibly be a cornflower too. Who knows? It's whatever flower you want it to be!
Today, it's a blue dandelion! Now, I know there's no such thing as blue dandelions, but that's what makes the card more interesting.
This is a cased card. You can see the original inspiration piece HERE.
My card is almost identical to the original card except I used a different image, paper, and I matted my white panel. I also did not use a glitter strip.
I really loved the clean and simple design of the original card. I also thought the idea of using a black and white designer paper with the blue flowers and Baja Breeze card stock was brilliant.
This was such an easy card to make, I made two! I love that no coloring was involved. Just stamp and your done! I really need to invest in more solid colored stamps. They are such time savers.
Have a great day! Amy

Hi Amy! I love the blue dandelions and the houndstooth check border is a classic addition to your card. You cedrtainly have an eye for card making! A friend of mine just gave me stamps to try and now I have some inspiration :-)

Just beautiful! Love this set too! The flower reminds me of an allium. My neigbour has them in her backyard.
