My Spring Stitch Fix

It has been a long time since I received a fix from Stitch Fix.  I used to get fixes all the time;  in fact, I was even signed up to receive monthly fixes.  But eventually, I had more clothes than I could possibly wear so I stopped my subscription.    My last fix was in the fall of 2024 where I showed you My Stitch Fix Rejects 😆.    But this past spring, I received an offer from Stitch Fix that I couldn't turn down (a $40 credit plus they waived the styling fee), so I signed up to receive a Spring Fix.

Stitch Fix has changed a lot since the early years, and it is much better in my opinion.  Now when you order a fix you can preview it before they send it to you.  If there is anything you don't want, you just reject it and your stylist chooses something else for you.  I ended up rejecting three items in this fix after I previewed it because one item was too expensive and the other two items were too similar to things I already owned.  Because I was able to preview my choices, I ended up keeping EVERYTHING in this fix!

Other changes Stitch Fix has made is now they are also an on-line store.  You don't have to order a fix, you can just scroll on their website and buy whatever you see.  In fact, you will see a pair of shoes I ordered by directly shopping their website later in this post.

My favorite part of Stitch Fix has always been their "Outfit Ideas".  They  show you different ways to style the pieces that you keep.   The company use to send you cards of these outfits, but now everything is on line, so if I want to see how to wear a certain piece, I just go to my account, click "pieces I kept" and up come all my possible ways to wear my clothing piece.   It makes putting an outfit together a dream!

Now on to my Spring Stitch Fix!

Market & Spruce Millie Eyelet Blouse

My first Stitch Fix item is an eyelet blouse by Market and Spruce.  It is eyelet in the front, with a plain back.  I would have preferred if the back was eyelet too, as it is a bit sheer so I have to wear a camisole underneath.  It has a neckline scoop, which is a tad big on me.  I'm wearing a medium, but in hindsight I should have exchanged this top for a small as the neckline doesn't lay flat.  I didn't notice that flaw until after I purchased it.  I love how the top is a neutral color, but has so much detail with the eyelet and layered sleeves/hemline.

Notice the shoes?  Those I saw while on Stitch Fix while looking at possible outfit suggestions.  I really needed a close-toed neutral shoe so I purchased them outright.  They are LifeStride Pillar Wedge and are so comfy!

Dr. Scholl's Time Off Sky Sandal

A crochet cardigan is perfect for spring because of the open weave. It provides just the warmth you need in the cool mornings/evenings.   I have been worn this cardigan so much this season as it goes with everything and it is the perfect spring/summer layering piece.  I can even see using it a lot in the fall because it's a lovely autumn color.

My stylist must have known women over sixty prioritize comfortable shoes, for she sent me a pair of Dr. Scholl's! 😀. I do love them;  they are super comfy and go with everything!  I really appreciate the straps too.  They look like a buckle, but they are really velcro!  Much better for these old arthritic hands to put on my feet.

In the next two photos you will see I'm wearing three pieces from my fix:  the top, the shorts, and the sandals again.  

I LOVE this top.  I think the color is super flattering on me, and the detail of the smocked neckline is exquisite.  It's also super soft and comfy.

The shorts were the item my stylist selected for me when I rejected all the pants in my original fix.  At first, I was going to send them back because I already have a pair of tan skorts.  But my skort has a small stain on it, and when I tried these shorts on, I was in instant love, so I decided to keep them.  They are SO COMFY because the material is 3% Spandex.  I love the elastic waist and the button detail on the pockets.  They are also the perfect length for these over-sixty legs.

I was so pleased with my Spring Stitch Fix and all the changes the company has made since its start up days.  They even have AI now, would you believe it?  You just upload a photo of yourself and you can see what you would look like in their outfits.  I love it!
