A Pocket of Thanks

I made this card for yesterday's Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The featured stamper was Cards by America, one of my favorite stampers, and her original card can be seen here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1099897?cat=500+ppuser=160948
I've changed just about everything, yet it still resembles the original card very much. How that happened, I'll never know! LOL! I changed the cardstock colors, the sentiment, eliminated some of the brads, the photo corners, and the hardware. I embossed the main panel with the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder 'Swiss Dots' and I added a prima. Since taking this photograph, I've since added two more primas and some punched Martha Stewart Oak Leaves to the lone prima you see in the picture. It just looked too plain with only one prima, and I'm a 'More is More' type of girl. LOL!
My cardstock colors are Stampin Up! 'Regal Rose', White, and 'Close to Cocoa'. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to create the shadow. If you've never done this before, its so simple! You simply stamp your image, then stamp again slightly off the main image a bit WITHOUT REINKING your stamp! The stamp set is called 'Pocket Silhouettes' and its by Stampin Up! Its a current set, so don't hesitate to email me or go to my website if you'd like to purchase it. Stampin Up! is still offering free shipping until December 23rd! The sentiment is from Inkadinkado and is called 'Garden Flower'.
Have a great day! Amy
