Fill This Day With Joy

Filling your day with joy is such an easy thing to do in the spring…isn't it?  It is in the cold, dark, dreary days of January, February, and March that it is difficult.  In the spring, it's impossible not to be joyful.  I notice it not just in myself, but in everyone I meet.  Everyone is smiling and happy;  in such good moods.  The weather, the budding leaves, the flowers, and all the singing birds just elevate every one's moods in the spring.

So just as spring has elevated your mood today, I hope this card does as well.  It is the last of my spring cards that I have been showing you the past few weeks using Penny Black's 'Garden Friends' set.  I had set a personal goal to not only use every single stamp in my collection that has never seen ink, but also to use every single, little stamp in a stamp set.  Now that's a real challenge!  And with as many stamp sets that I have accumulated over the years, it will probably take me the rest of my life to use them all!  :)

To make my card, I started with a sketch by MFT (MFTWSC211).  The paper is Prima Annalee.

I used Spellbinders and MFT dies to cut the shapes on the card.
The center of all the flowers have Stickles.  The only embellishment I used was a Prima Flower and brad.
Enjoy your Spring Day!  Amy

  1. Such a cute card, and I love the colors you used! Great idea to challenge yourself to use every stamp from a set. I really need to do that too! By the way, this card also fits the Penny Black and More challenge, and you can enter up to 3 cards :-)
