I saw a bear video on FB recently where a bear was tearing apart someones pumpkin they had on the front porch for a decoration. ha ha. I guess if I lived in bear country, I would not use real pumpkins.Amy Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11878073765579182362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365694657538005233.post-45049291092731193412022-10-05T07:49:24.962-05:002022-10-05T07:49:24.962-05:00Thank you. Just be sure to plant it very early, you could even plant it in the fall if you have a long fall season.Amy Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11878073765579182362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365694657538005233.post-55486426451365151552022-10-04T19:33:34.337-05:002022-10-04T19:33:34.337-05:00Oh, forgot to add... Now that the kids are teens they aren't so much into carving anymore so after the season is over I move the pumpkins into the backyard and the squirrels get working on them. Sometimes they even start chewing on them when they are on my front porch :) Ellibellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18365728362619705749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365694657538005233.post-10829933926766475572022-10-04T14:44:12.449-05:002022-10-04T14:44:12.449-05:00Your early fall garden still looks beautiful! And ...Your early fall garden still looks beautiful! And I can't believe all those veggies you harvested! I've never tried growing broccoli because I read they prefer cooler weather and our summers are usually so hot and humid over here. Maybe next year I'll give it a try as I buy broccoli weekly.
Oh, and your Impatients look amazing next to the Hosta. I will definitely plant some next year!
And look how cute Jackson is!!Ellibellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18365728362619705749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365694657538005233.post-40545419635140372812022-10-04T07:47:24.351-05:002022-10-04T07:47:24.351-05:00Thank you.
