A Crochet Trim Top

Hello, hello, hello!  I am back from my two week vacation in Florida.  I had such a wonderful time.  The weather was perfect and it was so great seeing my 'babies' again!  We did so much in those two weeks it was ridiculous!  I will have so many travel posts to share with you in the months to come.

But since today is Monday, I have a fashion post to share.  If you ever wonder what topics my blog covers, just look over at the right sidebar and you will see a "Blogging Schedule".  I stick to this schedule religiously!  So if your only interested in certain topics, be sure to visit on those days.

In the upcoming weeks, you will be seeing a lot of new scenery in my fashion photos because they were all taken in Florida, by my lovely daughter.  If they have a different look to them, it's because of my new photographer and her amazing photo editing skills.  All of today's pictures were taken in the quaint Central Park of Winter Park, Florida.

On this day, we went to an art museum.  It was a seventy degree day, but it rained on and off.  Florida rain is so different than Wisconsin rain.  They have periodic showers, almost daily, where it suddenly downpours and then the sun comes out;  then it downpours again, and then the sun comes out.  It can do this all day.  It's even quite common for the sun to be shining brightly while the sun is out!  You always need to keep an umbrella in your car if you live in Florida.

So because of the rain, yet warm weather, I chose to wear a lace trimmed short sleeve top (Rue 21), black slim fitting pants (Stitch Fix), and black peep toe wedges (old).

I bought this pretty top off a clearance rack at Rue21 for only $3.99!  So sadly, it is no longer available.

It is a very thin knit so I wore a black camisole underneath.  But if your younger than me, and your body is in better shape than mine, I think one of those pretty lace black bras that are so popular right now, would look great as well.

For jewelry, I wore my handmade beaded tassel necklace (see more HERE), and a brown beaded bracelet.

My shoes are black canvas, open toe, with a straw wedge heel.

I just love the trim on this top!  I also love how long and loose this shirt.  It is shorter in front, but longer in back.

Here's a photo which normally would not make the cut for my blog because of my messy hair and awkward pose, but I wanted to include it so you could see the cut of the top.

I relied quite heavily on all my cross body bags while in Florida.  I always use cross body bags or my back pack bag whenever I travel for security and comfort reasons.  This one has a western look.  I picked it up on my last vacation to Colorado.

Isn't this arch just gorgeous?  Central Park is filled with many interesting art sculptures, and this was one of my favorites.  You could step inside as I did, but there were strict instructions not to touch it.

In the photo below I am actually inside the Charles Hosmer Morse Art Museum.  It was a beautiful art museum primarily showcasing an extensive Tiffany collection.  I love stained glass, so it was a thrilling experience for me.  However, I am not sure I will do a travel post on the museum because they do not allow any photography inside the museum except in the one room I'm photographed in below.  I just don't know how to tell my story if I do not have any pictures to share, but we will see if I can come up with anything.

Have a great day!  Amy
